After spending two years in captivity in Caesarea, Paul's case is reactivated by Festus, the new governor of Judea. Paul's defense before Festus, in the face of so much opposition, not only demonstrates his example to remain faithful to Christ, but it proves Christ's faithfulness to fulfill His promise to Paul.
