In Colossians 2:8-15, Paul provides us with a model for dealing with the fallacy of human philosophy. However, instead of using their arguments against them, he argues for those truths that accentuate the reality of Christ's sufficiency. Any philosophy that minimizes the sufficiency of Christ is to be rejected as another gospel (cf. Gal. 1:6-9).
