Tim works as a broadcast engineer for a NASA contractor at the Armstrong Research Center on base. He grew up occasionally attending church, but remembers, it wasn’t until he began high school that his family moved to Zachary, Louisiana, where they started attending First Baptist Church of Zachary. He attended youth group off and on, but remembers, it was his mom who taught him about Jesus and the way to salvation. After his father passed away a few years later, Tim recalls, “My father’s death made me face my own mortality and sin. I turned to Christ for comfort and resolution. Soon after, I trusted Christ for my salvation and I finally received Him as Savior and Lord.” It is Christ’s Lordship that reminds Tim that Christ alone saves sinners from their sin and He serves as a model for godly living.

Tim has been married to his wife, Grace, for over 25 years. They have been blessed with three wonderful sons: Doney, Will, and Kennard. Asked about his favorite text of Scripture, Tim says, “It’s John 3:16 for obvious reasons. After teaching AWANA for several years and hearing the children recite this verse over and over again, it’s like having the gospel in a nutshell. It’s straight to the point.” During his leisure time, Tim loves to tinker with technology, work on home improvements, and work on cars with his boys.
